The rFactor Hotlaps, or rtop100Factor as it is known recently, is a background service that records the 100 fastest laps on an rFactor dedicated server. It is known as the rtop100 because it records the data of the 100 fastest tracks for each track/mod combination.
Basically, it just runs as a background Windows service. It will detect if you are running an rFactor server and it will automatically start recording the laps. Once they are recorded, you can see them on a web page that you can access at any time.
It has already proved itself as a very useful tool for many league admins out there that wanted to record lap times for each race. However, in version 1.20 the application got even better. As well as fixing a number of bugs that prevented the application to run smoothly on some mods, it has a nice new feature. This is the ability to run the application for multiple dedicated servers on one computer. This allows admins to run different mod/track combinations at the same time but still being able to log the laps. The application runs smoothly on the mods that work, but since there are so many mods for rFactor, some of them may experience problems with this application.
